Southwest Seasoned Pasta and sauce
New product for 2008, new flavor with a tasteful blend of spices, a dry pasta sauce, two Tabasco bottles and voila - dinner has been created!
Order includes:
2- 12.4oz handmade pasta, various shapes each tied with a 1/8fl oz Tabasco bottle.
1- 1.8oz gourmet pasta sauce blend dry mix.
Ingredients:
Southwestern pasta salad: Semolina, spices, salt, garlic, chili pepper, mustard, paprika and sugar.
Gourmet pasta sauce blend: enriched wheat flour, dehydrated vegetables, chicken base, garlic, spices, chile pepper, salt, extract of paprika.

Recipe:
2 cups chicken, cooked & diced (substitute: ham or turkey).
1 red bell pepper, diced
1 bunch green onions, sliced
1 large avocado, diced
8 3/4oz can corn, drained
4oz can diced green chilies, drained
1/2 cup olive oil
1/4 cup red wine vinegar
2 Tbsp lime juice
Directions:
Heat 4qt water to boiling.Stir in pasta and return to boil, cook for 5-8 minutes (do not overcook). Rinse in cold water. Mix the gourmet pasta sauce blend with olive oil, vinegar and lime juice in a blender. Add vegetables to pasta. Pour dressing over pasta and toss. Chill at least 1 to 2 hours. Serves 8 people.
Variation: Mix the gourmet pasta sauce blend with 1/4 cup low-fat mayonnaise, 1/4 cup low-fat yogurt, toss with pasta and vegetables.
